Education
We are responsible for some foundational courses in materials science and engineering, such as mechanics and transport phenomena. We are also strongly involved in the courses on materials processing and engineering with soft materials.

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kaiser begründete für Ingenieure in der Schweiz eine systematische Aus- und Weiterbildung in der Kunststofftechnik; an der FH Nordwestschweiz und am Departement Materialwissenschaften der ETH Zürich. Er war mitverantwortlich für den Aufbau des Kunststoff-Ausbildungs- und Technologie-Zentrums (KATZ) in Aarau und dessen langjähriger Geschäftsführer in Personalunion. Wolfgang Kaiser ist Autor und Koautor zahlreicher wissenschaftlicher Publikationen auf dem Gebiet der Kunststofftechnik.
